Planning a day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with toddlers may seem overwhelming, but with a little preparation, it can be one of the most magical experiences for your family. From beloved Disney Junior characters to kid-friendly attractions and plenty of opportunities for snacks and breaks, Hollywood Studios offers more for little ones than many parents realize. Arrive Early and Have a Plan
Toddlers tend to do best in the morning when energy levels are high and crowds are lower. Arriving before park opening gives your family a chance to experience several attractions before wait times increase.
Rather than trying to do everything, focus on a handful of must-do experiences. A slower pace often leads to happier kids—and happier parents.
Start with Toy Story Land
Toy Story Land is a toddler’s dream. The oversized toys, bright colors, and playful atmosphere make it feel like you’ve stepped into Andy’s backyard.

Don’t Miss Disney Junior Play & Dance!
One of the best experiences for toddlers is Disney Junior Play & Dance! This interactive show allows little ones to sing, dance, and see favorite characters like Mickey Mouse, Vampirina, and Doc McStuffins.
It’s air-conditioned, energetic, and provides a great break from walking around the park.
Enjoy Family-Friendly Shows
Hollywood Studios is known for its entertainment, and several shows are perfect for toddlers.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After (for older toddlers who aren’t easily frightened)
Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage
Shows offer a chance to sit down, cool off, and recharge while still enjoying the magic.
Take Advantage of Rider Switch
If older family members want to experience thrill rides like Tower of Terror or Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Disney’s Rider Switch service is incredibly helpful.
One adult can ride while another stays with the toddler, then switch without waiting in line twice.
Plan for Snacks and Breaks
Toddlers operate on snack schedules more than attraction schedules. Pack portable snacks if allowed, and build in regular breaks throughout the day.

Lunch Box Tarts: From Woody's Lunch Box, these are homemade, pastry-style tarts. The Raspberry version is the most popular, but flavors rotate seasonally.
Carrot Cake Cookie: Grab this at the Trolley Car Café (the park's Starbucks location).
A rested toddler is far more likely to enjoy the day.
Use the Baby Care Center
Many parents overlook the Baby Care Center, but it’s a lifesaver. It offers a quiet place for diaper changes, feeding, and a break from the crowds.
Even families with older toddlers appreciate having a calm space available when needed.
Stay Flexible
The biggest secret to a successful Hollywood Studios day with toddlers is flexibility. You may not accomplish everything on your list, and that’s okay.
Sometimes the most magical moments happen while watching a parade pass by, dancing with Disney Junior characters, or sharing a Mickey-shaped snack together.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios can be an incredible park for toddlers when approached with realistic expectations and a flexible plan. Focus on character experiences, interactive attractions, entertainment, and plenty of breaks.
